Route Sales Professional Large Format

The Route Sales Professional Large Format represents BBU in the market, selling and merchandising fresh baked products to customers. Through world-class market execution, the Large Format Sales Professional's primary focus is to maximize sales to customers through strong customer relationships, good business practices that drive profitable sales growth, and provide incidental sales-related services that exceed the customer's expectations.

What you will be doing:

•Analyze and utilize sales data to drive effective decisions in the market and promote brand growth by increasing sales and acquiring new space and displays.

• Establish and maintain effective customer relationships with decision-makers to secure displays and additional shelf space, maximizing sales opportunities.

•Drive in-store excellence by selling displays, ensuring proper rack setup according to BBU and customer guidelines, and executing promotions seamlessly.

• Execute world-class merchandising and ensure proper rotation of products to maintain the highest quality and freshness.

• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space.

• Take and maintain accurate inventory counts and place product orders using a tablet or handheld device, while servicing customers based on established service frequency patterns.

• Utilize order management tools and make independent ordering decisions to ensure optimal orders for each customer, prioritizing adequate and fresh product delivery.

• Perform daily route settlement procedures, accounting for all products and invoices, and verifying daily store orders match delivered product.

• Handle returns when necessary.

Job Requirements

What we need from you:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain and retain a DOT medical card
• Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
• 1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred
